Nordoff Robbins Rugby Dinner
28th January 2016
We all know the healing wonders of music, it’s the best remedy for a broken heart, a powerful invigorator those down days and a soothing source for the stressed, but for many it goes far beyond that.
Nordoff Robins specialises in music therapy. Working in hospitals, care homes and schools Nordoff Robbins is transforming lives, literally creating daily miracles through music.
Last night I was invited to a Nordoff Robbins fundraising dinner in honour of English Rugby legend Mike Tindell.
These charity events are such wonderful evenings full of the most mixed bag of people, all there to support the cause. I was able to have baby talk with new mum Imogen Thomas, giggle with Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Lock about the perils of fake tan and exchanging holiday destination tips with Mike Tindall. I was also lucky enough to
meet some of the wonderful people who benefit from Nordorff Robbins hard work. To say their stories are inspiring is a massive understatement.
At the end of the night The Stereophonics performed on the intimate stage at The Grosvenor Hotel’s Grand Ballroom and the evening was a huge success.
I look forward to hearing how much was raised and encourage you to check out the wonderful work Nordoff Robbins do: http://www.nordoff-robbins.org.uk/content/what-we-do
